Not only is he one sexy redhead that deserves not one, but two national holidays (Nov 5th is the first people, mark it in your calendars!), Mr.Kyle Detrick is the reason this blog was born!
So, without further ado, I have moved over the pond, therefore I blog.
After an amazing twist of fate (and some creative flirting/begging), I got upgraded to business class. I love having that golden ticket in my hand, red carpet at my feet, special socks, and most of all, free booze! My good friend I met through work, Matt was with me, so the flight over alone was destined for greatness! We sat together, toasted everything at every chance we got, watched season one of Entourage and laughed most of the way. I loved every min of it!
Arriving in London was perfect! After putting on my new Burberry snood (a scarfy thing) that Cheryl and David gave me, I passed out in the cab only waking up in time to pass the huge Burberry store and see it on a huge ad in the window. It was on a man, but who cares, unisex is pimp! When we got to Brian & Anita's place - after weaving through many halls and taking two different elevators, we opened the door to an amazingly bright and sunny apartment - it was even more adorable than I remembered. The only thing that was missing were my roommates who are still in the US - well, that and energy to start running around town! So, I took a nappy nap, got cleaned up, went on an amazing, albeit totally lost walk, and then met up with Matt for dinner in Portman Park. All-in-all, an amazing day!
Thanks again to all of you who went WAY above and beyond to make me feel loved over the past few weeks. Know this - I love you more than you can even imagine - deal with it! ;)
